Big Fish

That was a marvelous piece of work. I was in tears at the end in awe of how beautiful the story was. So innocent and yet melded with reality, it gave us both worlds for us to experience, and the best of each.

Tim Burton did an excellent job in taking this story and making it into film. The Burton Style was uniquely held back in my opinion, creating a sort of dreamworld that was almsot always somewhat believeable, and yet, not. It never clashed with the reality, creating a plot that was always acceptable.

Overall, I tought it was a marvelous little film that made me feel happy all over😀

Dude....I am not ashamed of emotion...hell, I'll sit along side ya during a mosnter truck fight yelling "KILL THAT FVKER" all night long, but why should I limit myself to that?

Now go rent Blade: Trinity, so you can get your Man Card back 😛

Seriously, though, Big Fish is a good movie.

I too was impressed. Burton's reputation for movies had gone down the sh!tter awhile ago (Batman, Planet of the Apes - yuck!). My fiance loved it so much she demanded we add it to the collection. She still cries everytime she watches it. Very polished movie, although I grimace everytime I see the giant guy, he looks like he can't move an inch without being in pain.

<----- has history of banged up knees and couldn't walk right for a long time

Kage, I know what you mean by Burton having killed his rep, but I think between Big Fish and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, he'll regain a lot of it.

An awesome, awesome movie. One of my favorites ever.

Also one of the few movies where the book is honestly not nearly as good as the movie.
