I've always preferred the small pond myself... maybe it's totally baseless, but I've felt like I've had a lot better job security working for small-medium sized companies than faceless corporate giants, even if the pay was a bit lower.

Wheres the big fish, big pond answer? You know most ATOTers are, and they make $3 million a year.

I'd imagine that at a big company, you'd have access to more women, but at a small company, you'd have a chance to get to know the ones there better.

unless you work for my company. lol. we've got like 300 employees and maybe 2 females.

I like being faceless in a big company.
Everybody who works with you loves you because you're one of the only competent people they work with. You generally get to do your own thing because people would be fvcked if you quit.

Upper managers don't know you, you don't get the glory, you don't get regular promotions, etc.
I'm at a point in my life where I'm not interested in growing my career. I'm interested in doing what I want to do. Being faceless serves this goal well.

I like coming in to fix the server/printer/workstation(s) having trouble, being everybodys hero for a few days & then getting the hell out before they get to know the real me!

I'm still in school but my mentality has always been to head for the biggest pond I can.
