So what's the concept with this show? I know it has an obese goofball (actor) trying to hook up with this girl but what is the purpose?? Who is in on the prank? I would think if the family knew it was a joke she would just marry the guy and get the million that was mentioned earlier in this post.
I haven't seen it yet and have been wondering.

This show is great

"Sometimes, I just want to come home from work, and have sex. Is that so wrong?"

her expression was priceless

Concept: Girl goes on show to pull prank on her family. If she can convince her family that she's getting married to said guy, she get's $500k. What she doesn't know is that said guy (who she believes is another contestant on this show) is a professional actor hired by the producers to make her life a living hell. Hilarity ensues.

The guy is actually a good actor for what they are trying to accomplish.

Stupid show,
yes,

funny,
yes.

I dont get the premise of the show from watching the commercials (am I being dumb?) She has to "convince" her family? But they show them at the alter...

Can somebody explain.

She "convinces" her family by going all the way through with it. On top of convincing them, she needs to have them all attend and not object. With the guy acting like he does, that will be a challenge.

but do they know $1M is at stake?

You mean the family? It wouldn't be much of a contest if the family knew about it...........

See then how the hell do they explain the 100 TV cameras everywhere?
Its BS. I mean ANYONE that has some crazy crap like this going on in their lives or around them would have to INSTANTLY think its part of soem reality TV show/candid camera crap... and if reality then the payout = $1M (default payment for these shows it seems).

I just dont get how anyone could not put 2 and 2 together with stuff like this.

Uh, WTH are you ranting about? It's not that the family doesn't know they are on TV, it's that they don't know it's a prank put on by the girl.

Funniest line yet:

When he is getting a massage, "Think of baseball, think of baseball"

lol

Hahah this show rocks. That actor is a genius. Yesterday's sex couseling session was one of the funniest things I've seen this year.

The family thinks the girl went on some TV reality show like the Bachorette, and chose this guy to marry... Thus explaining all the cameras etc...

Now the girl has to convince her whole family to attend and not object to this wedding... If she does, she will win $1 mil... but she cannot tell ANYONE about the money and the prank, or else she loses everything...
