Big Brothers/Big Sisters

I'm kind of interested in becoming a big brother. I have a lot of free time on the weekends and during the week (if they have programs during the week). Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience in doing a program like this.

Looks like something I might want to do but I just don't really know anything about it.

Nah, in all seriousness, I think it's a great program and if I had time & patience, I'd consider doing it too.

It's sad to admit it, but that's kind of why I became interested in it. I'm just concerned that I'll get a really troubled kid and wouldn't really be able to accommodate well.

Nah...I called a few years ago and tried to get a Big Sister...but when I started specing what I wanted...5'-0 to 5'-4, 100-110 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes...they figured my scheme out...<sigh>
