Big Bold Black line in BF: Vietnam

I've had my SLI system since January and havn't had any real problems with any of my games...

...until I installed BF: Vietnam. I installed the game and installed the patches (1.2 and 1.21) and started up the game. When it started, immediately there was a big black bold line that went across the screen and would move up and down a little bit. This line was probably about 3 inches tall. I tried using all the different types of rendering (AFR, AFR2, SFR and Auto-Select) and even tried setting it to Single-GPU rendering and still had the problem.

I have the 71.89 NVidia drivers installed, by the way.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I had this problem in Source once. It looked like an LOD problem. Try folling around with your AF. That is what I did.

Ok this is odd.

This big black line ONLY shows up while in the game menus and the start up screens.

As soon as I start a game, the big line goes away. I guess it's good that I can play the game without this line, except it's nearly impossible to change any settings because the line is in the way of everything. I tried taking a screenshot but the line doesn't show up and since I don't have a digital camera, kinda difficult to take a real life photo.

Reinstallation might work. But I doubt it. If you can still read the main menu then I wouldn't worry aobut it too much.

Already tried that.

I can read most of the menu, but a big chunk of it cannot be seen because of this line.
