Impressive, but the '55 Chevy with the 3000 HP Rolls Royce Merlin V12 was even better

Bah. Thought it was going be about a new 427ci (7.0L) Modular DOHC engine to replace the 4.6.

It appears like a big engine sitting inside a virtually empty shell of a car. I will wait to be impressed until we have videos of it driving on the street and/or on the track.

Where does the 3000 HP figure come from? The military spec merlin V12s never produced that much...

Big big supercharger?

It already has a supercharger that delivers 25PSI, there were military versions that went up to about 2000HP, and there were uses in racing boats and racing planes, so perhaps one of those two sources found another 50%.
