Dang. That's a lot of bees! I wonder if you could freeze the entire hive with CO2 or Nitrogen, then go in with bee suits and chunk away at it with claw hammers. Bees can't move when they're cold, and the cold would help to make the honeycomb very brittle, and maybe even less sticky.

Well I think one problem with this is that this wouldn't necessarilly get rid of the bees... they would just keep coming back and rebuilding... or at least trying to.
You'd have to move their home or manage to kill 'em all off to be effective, really.
But that idea would be pretty fun![]()
OMG THERE'S HONEY EVERYWHERE! LOOK AT THE CARNAGE!

Me too. I'm allergic, and if stung I have to go to the hospital.

Just curious......... would an epi-pen work or would you still have to go to the hospital?

I'm not quite to the stage where I need an epi-pen yet. So at this time I just have to go to the hospital to be monitored or given steroids. The allergy grows with each sting, so if stung a few more times I might need an epi-pen.
