Sometimes it gets lonely here, only 5 million people in total, in an area "slightly larger than Missouri and Illinois combined" -taken from some U.S. source 😱

I was tempted to head upto Greenwhich and meet a few mates, but i decided to spend my time with my girlfriend, who in the end left me on my own at 11.30, after telling me she doesnt think we should be together anymore

3 hours to go still here in Texas.

4 years ago, I was all huddled with my co-workers at the nuclear power plant, waiting for the world to go dark.
I missed all the fun that New Years. (but at least the blackout was a complete false alarm)

Should I make up for it this year? I've plenty of beer chilled (its on the back porch, anyway, so its cold enough).

Everyone have a safe night. I'm not driving anywhere and I don't recommend it.

At 7:30 in the morning here, we've been patrolling for "world peace" for our time (world p- which probably will never be realized in our time) and now it's your turn to party... hope all the best for you, wherever you are...whatch us sleep...thanks! Hopefully one day we could really say happy new year globally. And perhaps, enjoy the party in all the timezones?
