Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

I noticed that taisol has the big bad voodoo daddy for sale now. Expensive and loud, but is it any good? I assume using the forged heat sink from the CGK742092 with a 36 CFM fan would be hella cool, but is it worth it and how loud is it?
 
i thought it had the same fan as the cek734. if i'm right, it's not loud at all. because it's a forged heatsink, it should perform very well. according to one comparison, it outperformed the fop38 - which is much louder i might add. do a search in this forum for cgk742 or just taisol and the results should tell you everything you want to know.
 
Uh the BBVD is the heavy duty fan version of the cgk742. The 742 competed very well with the much louder fop38. Haven't seen any reviews about the BBVD yet but should be the coolest HSF around and depending on the fan probably will sound like the fop38.
Personally I think the cgk742 should suffice.

Do a search I posted the Inside Hardware 742 review link a few times already.
 
If I'm correct, the BBVD just had the 38CFM Delta fan instead of the other. It sure looks like that. If it is, it's going to be as loud as the FOP38, but much better cooling. 🙂
 
37cfm and 46.5db for big bad voodoo daddy aka the cgk 747 (hmm did it get that number to match the jet?) and $48.
While the 742 goes for $33.60 and does 21.19cfm I think, not sure about the decibels, guess it wasn't loud enough to note.

Tetsuo316 you were part right.

The cek733, cek734, and cgk742 all have the same 4800rpm, 21.19cfm rating.
The 733 is 60x60x45, the 734 is 60x80x45, and the 742 is forged and 60x80x50.
The bbvd(747) is the same forged heatsink as the cgk742 with the 37cfm rating with the heavy duty Delta? fan.

In case anyone is wondering they will fit on the KT7 mobos.
