I just moved to New York and apparently I need a coat since it's like 4 degrees here in September. I went to Burlington Coat Factory and Kohl's today for a nice leather bomber jacket.

Burlington had a lot of nice stuff, but none we in my size (XXLT). Kohl's was a complete joke. They had no selection and their prices were quite literally insane.

I also need some 15W tennis shoes. Where do you guys shop online? I'm not driving into NYC for clothes, so that's out of the question.

Mens Wearhouse

EDIT: Also Burlington Coat Factory sucks ass, they will not let you return an item for a refund no matter what, only store credit even if it's the day after you purchase it and have the receipt.

Complete bullsh!t IMO, I'll never shop there again.

The Gap carries tall sizes online. I usually try something on in the store, then go online and get the tall size. I wear an XXLT jacket too and that's how I got the last one. They carry XXL in store, the tall size is a bit longer.

American Eagle has tall sizes too I think. It's one of the few places I can buy pants with a 36 inseam.

Yeah, I'd imagine that it's really hard for very tall people. Fortunately I have a 32" inseam, so it's not so bad.

My biggest problem is that there seems to be no real agreement on sizes. Wrangler Jeans? 38" Waist. These off-brand jeans I just bought? 40 is a tight fit. Hushpuppy shoes? 14 is okay. Nike? 15 is tight.

The only thing that seems to always be the same is chest and neck size. 52" chest, 19" neck.

never have any problem. Suits always custom - made because I like fine style for business, I could shop off the rack if I wanted to, no problemo. I'm 6'4" 200 lbs.

As for "where" it's usually some top quality shop where I can check it out first, never online.

I usually buy from Casual Male, but was in Leggett (sp) sometime ago and the prices were about the same. They have a big mens section.

same here.
i need to find another place for t-shirts though. they never have anything decent. i always just buy the plain pocket t-shirts because everything else has that stupid big daddy, dog or whatever crap on it. they do have some band and beer shirts but i don't really like any of those bands and i don't drink much, at least not enough to have a favorite beer.

go to burlington coat's website and they might have that same coat in your size. Most B&M stores don't carry my pant size (36" inseam, 32 or 34" waist), but their websites will have the same lines of pants in my size.

For sneakers, I buy New Balance at The Bon on sale. They carry wide shoes up through 14 or 15.
