BIG 8rda+ and 2100+ problem (hyperx)!! Reboots at 185fsb!

Ok, well i had my cpu running at 13x166. 6332 stable all default vcore

8rda+
2100+
512mb hyperx pc3000

upped to 12x175 (prime 24min stable) vcore. default. vdimm 2.77
upped to 11x185 (4 windows reboots) vcore. default. vdimm 2.77 6332 and 6222
upped to 11x180 now (stable) vcore. default. vdimm 2.77 6332
upped to 11x180 (windows doesnt load or reboots) vcore 1.8 vdimm 2.77

NOW running at 12x180 at 1.7 vcore and default vdimm. 6332 37 idle and 40-41 under load since my ac is broke. Lower when a/c is fixed

WHATS going on with my comp. Why cant i take my fsb over 180 without reboots????
At 185 the whole thing just reboots after i enter my windows password



Whats going on? temps are awesome. 37 under load with 13x166

Northbridge cooling issue, perhaps? The stock thermal pad deserves to be replaced with some thermal grease IMHO. Use enough to actually fill the gap (test-fit, remove, inspect for contact).

my temps in my case are fine though case 25x and cpu 37c under load. Its gotta be some other problem

Please run CPU-Z and tell us the version of the chipset.

Eg. A1/A1 or the best C1/A3

The later is better for overclokcing.
A lot of times, its the Vdd to the chipset thats the problem.

I have the same exact stuff.
I can run
12x192=2304, vcore 1.725, vdimm 2.77, 6-2-2-2
11.5x200=2300, vcore 1.725, vdimm 2.77, 7-3-3-2.5

The ram is only rated for 183mhz, and I had to relax the timings a lot to get 200mhz out of it. Maybe you could try 2.9 vdimm(I won't put that much voltage). Your stick just might not be as good as some. Other than that, I have no idea. My board and cpu will take it without a problem.

Maybe you need to lower the multiplier and relax memory settings.

Jep i just tested epox rda+ and also epox rda3+ with my hyperx pc-3500 sticks....they both were unstable....i have heard that with the new 400fsb ultra edition there is a problem with hyperx......i tryied 3 times to install windows with the rda3+ but it booted all the time....with rda+ i installed windows ok but i didn't hit over 190fsb.......
