Big 3 market share dips to all-time low

the only GM car I thought of buying was the Pontiac Vibe, but ended up with it's cousin the Toyota Matrix. The depreciation on most big 3 models is so bad that I would never buy one.

Let see, why would you buy a Chevy Malibu or a Ford 500 when you could buy something else much better, aka Accord and Camry. Even a used Honda Civic is more highly valued than a Chevy Malibu.

Or you could get a Dodge Magnum.

heh, who knew Nissan would sell 230k+ Altimas a year. I bet no one thought that 3 years ago!

I wish DC was more consistent and had other affordable cool cars apart from the 300C/Magnum.

While the SRT4 is great, the non-performance model could have been much better and really sweetened the lineup.

The Neon replacement is due the end of this year, and supposed to have "magnum" styling, and have a new chassis and engine.

I personally enjoy GM's commercial bragging about the resale on their trucks...."Because better resale means it's a better vehicle". Or something to that extent.

Ahem...and what about your whole lineup of cars and minivans? Eh? Eh? Eh? Honda and Toyota destroy GM in resale. So GM admits that Toyota and Honda are better vehicles?

TERRIBLE marketing campaign.

that's the problem.... HOWEVER with the incentives, you have a choice.
either you pay MORE through your term, (Honda, Toyota) and the car is worth more in the end... OR
You pay less through your term, and the car is also worth less in the end. I ended up choosing lower payments, because regardless of what my car is worth when it's paid off, it's still clearly mine.
