...wtf is a real estate broker doing with a pickup?

Because you know what he does in his spare time, where he may need the towing power for his boat, or need the cab for projects he likes to do.

Nice ASSumption.

My sister has a Nissan Armada....biggest POS ever. They've had it in the shop so many times it's scary. And, the tires were shot at 25k miles...WTF? And there have been alot of other problems too.

Yeah - the Canton Mississippi plant was having all kinds of build quality problems - supposidly they're being addressed in a big way and it's noticable.

Don Poley, sales manager at LaFontaine Honda in Dearborn, said customers are taken aback by the Ridgeline's $28,000 base price.

"It's more than (the price of) a domestic -- but once people get in the vehicle, drive it, they realize they've got a high-quality vehicle."

I wonder what he is implying there

how bad is swallowing a bullet?

The japs can have the POStrucks for all I care. But the 3/4 ton and larger domestics will live on, simply because nowhere else in the world are they built.

hate to admit but i think domestic trucks are better, especially 3/4 ton and larger

i like the ridgeline truck though, although it's really undertoruqed for a truck.

Wonder how much of this is superiority of the american product vs. perception among truck buyers that Japanese trucks are for wusses.

They don't just plant sign seeds in front yards. I have seen some brokers carrying those things precariously sticking out of the trunk of luxury sedans wondering if they would stay in there until they got to their destination.
