I've been talking to the owner of this domain for a few days now, and he's offered the domain to me for VERY cheap. I've been thinking of buying it - part of me tells me it could be worth something if Biden ever decides to run. However, I don't want to be screwed by recent takeover laws, squatting laws, etc.

Any thoughts?

Fairly certain that would qualify as cybersquatting, and the current name holder knows it. He know's it'll be worthless if a presidential candidate ever wants it, which I assure you is why he's trying to sell it "on the cheap."

Let me guess, somewhere around $1000?

Buy it, and make it a site dedicated to promoting Biden as a future Presidential candidate. Then your purpose fits the domain name, and he still might want it.

As far as I can tell from Wikipedia only four VPs have ever gone on to become president, and only three more have been nominated but lost the election. VP is not really a good route to the presidency.

Additionally, Joe Biden will be 75 by the time he has a chance to run for president again (unless he runs against Obama which won't happen, or unless Obama dies before completing his first term).

Yeah I don't think that domain is worth much. But don't get mad at me if Biden is running for president in 6 years.

some could think its implying to kill obama to make biden president. any way, biden wont make president on his own, he has tried many times and failed.
