My money would be on him.
Joe should have asked others to do it for him like Trump. Rise up and/or you second amendment people need to take care.

But yes M1980 you are correct in a way because if Trump used the very same words there would be a different reaction. Just like if Hillary chose to keep her tax returns private. Life just isn't fair.

I can see it now....Trump's core group of, shall we say, very enthusiastic supporters? are seeing this comment from Biden as a challenge but mostly a threat, which fits right in with the hate filled narrative they've had their heads soaked in . That's a really motivated and riled up group of followers right there, and Biden's comment ratchets things up a bit for them IMO.

I really do hope that if or when it happens, Trump's loss will not result in violence.

At some point or another the only real answer to all the veiled threats is "Bring it or STFU." Or America can just continue to let them tear at the fabric of society & democracy itself.

I like what you say in the sense that opportunists of all stripes will exploit what most folks consider to be admirable traits like decency, humility and compassion. These traits are seen as weaknesses that can be used in any number of ways by those opportunists, and they manifest themselves as aggressive bullies, slick con artists and those that seek power and influence through disingenuous means.

And yes, how oddly coincidental that the profile I just described mysteriously fits the scenario of what the GOP is and what the GOP does to its constituents. And certain aspects of this behavior is then mimicked by their core base of followers who really outshine themselves at every rally Donny Trump Con Artist Extraordinaire has held.

In this regard I see the overwhelming opposition Trump has been running into are from those that actually are saying to him and his supporters "Bring it". They are fed up with the kind of exploitative games he is playing AND fed up with those folks who prescribe to it.
