Well no. Its just amazing to me we cant have civil conversations on this board without insults. Definite signs of intelligence deficiency.
Compu's response of a string of bullshit conspiracy theories didn't warrant a real response.

But it warranted an attack on his/her parents?
I think you're taking it a bit literally. Also been there for 9 months, not sure why you felt the need to respond today. I'm sure there are numerous other insults less than 24 his old you could hit up.

Biden's ratings are way down. Only Trump had lower ratings. When two presidents backs to back from opposite parties have the lowest ratings, I think that's good evidence that the country is broken. Both parties are broken. American politics are broken.

I'm not sure how things get fixed at this point. Maybe it all started in 2008, and the 2010s were the last illusion with COVID taking it down. Whatever, I worry we are heading to one of two extremes: socialism or facism. Maybe even the US splitting into two. Not within the next few years, but certainly in the 2030s if living standards continue to deteriorate. People are looking for the government to intervene on... capitalism. And I don't really blame them because it has lead to modern day wage slavery with some of the most extreme wealth gaps we've seen in recorded human history. I don't see how else the corporate stranglehold over politics can otherwise be broken.

I don't think polls matter, impeachments matter....
And anyway, the masses are way too finicky. They don't have a clue.
Up one day, down the next just like the stock market. And try to understand why either of the two should act that way.

I'm more pissed with Joe Manchin right now. I knew he was never going to vote with the democrats or as a democrat. Manchin just wanted to waste time. And isn't it interesting that Manchin would wait until Joe Biden was out of the country before announcing that he, Joe Manchin, will not support any package PERIOD. I swear, Manchin is taking his marching order from some republican in the senate. Probably Mitch McConnell. Manchin, being promised that when Donald Trump takes over, republicans in the senate will welcome Joe into their party with open arms. But something fishy is definitely going on with Joe Manchin. All he wanted was to waste everyones time, delay, delay, delay, then wait until Biden was away on business to take a crap on the party.

And this is extremely humiliating forJoe Biden, over there at those meetings with an empty briefcase. Joe Biden has nothing to offer the others because Joe Manchin pulled the rug out from under Biden, and that is unforgivable. Manchin purposely screwed this up, and probably handed the house and senate back over to the republicans next November. All and every democrat should be crying at the top of their lungs WE WANT REVENGE. Democrats should come down so hard on Manchin, openly, in public, and run the SOB out of the democratic party on a rail.
This just makes Joe Biden look like the clueless old fart that everyone thinks he is. Especially to the Europeans.

I think you've exaggerated the situation considerably. We'll see what happens. Joe being in Glasgow isn't like he's light years away. Manchin's a problem, but he likes it that way, it gives him more power, puts him in the spotlight. Technically it's true of any Democratic senator but Joe's the one who's taken that mantel and run with it. They call him a moderate. It makes me wonder. If he does turn Republican he'll always look like a turncoat, even to Republicans. Manchin is saying that there's shenanigans going on with how the bills figure to pay the tab. I don't know what he's talking about. Others have a better idea. In my view, the 3.5 trillion they have been fighting about is relatively trivial. It's principles that are driving where people are circling their wagons. If this all doesn't resolve well, or decently, there are reckonings coming soon enough. The collapse of civilization as we know it is in the offing.

Democrats are not gonna shove Manchin out of the party, if they did they'd lose West Virginia. What they need to do is get more than a hair's breadth advantage in the Senate. A few seats would make a huge difference given the preponderance of walls and lack of bridges nowadays.

Joe is not a "clueless old fart." However, without the clout of public opinion behind him, he's going to have a tough time driving policy change on the scale that's necessary. The fumbling of the Afghanistan retreat was a bad look. Leadership has to come from the Democratic side. The Republican mess looks like it can't spawn any.

Biden and Harris know nothing of leadership and the same for the rest of the Democrats. Harris cackling about no going to the disaster we call the Southern border, Biden lying about Afghanistan and having an 80 car convoy at the climate summit, and the Democrats inability to pass a no-so-infrastructure infrastructure tax hike.

Even after having 90% of the media cover for Joe, 9 months later he sits below 50%.

LOL this jagoff thinks “the media” has been covering for Joe all this time! Shows what media you’ve been consuming. Hint: read objective sources every once in awhile.

Biden had probably the shortest media “honeymoon” period of any elected Democrat in recent memory. They’ve been nitpicking at his agenda for months, and after the Taliban took Kabul it’s been mostly critical. If you can’t see that…well you can’t see shit.

I was going to reply to him, but yeah don’t feed the troll. Just ignore and move on

Maybe we should just reply to all his posts with “Let’s Go, Brandon!” His people love that phrase.

Biden in a few months got NATO and our allies unified. The opposite of undermining NATO and pissing off all our allies and siding with a murderous dictator

I think this thread has aged very well. I predict your post won't age well

The topic was approval ratings. As of today 538 shows Joes approval rating at 42%. So it seems fair to say that Joe's 62% achievement didn't age well. Despite his exemplary performance in uniting the world against a hateful asshole that everyone agrees needs to die, it's not going all that well for him.

Nobody doubted the right-wing hate machine's ability to hammer American minds. Manufacturing hate for Democratic Presidents is their bread and butter. Remember when you were very concerned about a sitting President getting a hummer in the Oval? Biggest scandal ever. Remember when people were convinced Obama forged his birth certificate? Biggest scandal ever. Remember when you were convinced Hillary lied to Congress? Biggest scandal ever. Remember how Biden personally assisted a suicide bomber during the Afghanistan draw down? Biggest scandal ever.

Bill destroyed the sanctity of marriage and our military. Obama took our guns and trained the gay frogs. Hillary ate babies in a Pizza Parlor basement and left a trail of 30+ dead bodies in her political wake. Now Biden is here to take your pickup trucks and force everyone to use proper pronouns when addressing him.

These and a thousand other accusations and that's just the manufactured ones. Ones that fall apart if you have an IQ above room temperature and the willingness to scratch a millimeter beneath the surface of each.

Yeah, big surprise Biden's numbers have been falling steadily. And people like you gloating about it like you're winning something. That's the biggest joke of all.

It jumped the shark with social media.

Allowed nation wide group-think on a scale never before imagined or achieved. Here we are, a brave new world where you are either loyal by checking all the boxes, or a scum sucking nazi/commie traitor.

This was set in motion long before social media. Rush Limbaugh was skullfucking Americans in the early 90s. Blaming it on social media is a fucking simpleton statement. Learn to fucking think for yourselves and stop blaming everyone else for your gullibility.
