If I understand correctly, you can retract your bid if it's not closer than 12 hours to the close of auction. Is this correct? I'm thinking about possibly retracting a bid. :( Just thinking....I've got about 10 hours left...

they give you quite a hassle, usually you have to give a solid reason or you are still bound by your bid(s). Something like I meant to bid ($9.00 instead of $90.00 etc.) Good luck!

Yeah, I read that....I have no such alibi, though. I won't lie about it either...

It used to be pretty easy, IIRC to retract a bid. I dunno...having second thoughts.

If it was a major purchase ie: more than $50 bucks, I would retract it without question, but for something small, then probably not.

I retracted a $65 bid on an item a few weeks ago, w/o hassle. I don't know if that was cuz I was the only bidder, but there wasn't any problems, besides the fact that it shows up on my feedback.
