When have I EVER posted anything that would lead you to believe that? You clearly don't know a thing about me so please save your ridiculous assumptions for someone else.
The only entitlement I think I'm due is that motorists treat me with some respect and try not to kill me when I ride. I don't think that's asking too much.
BTW-I don't track stand but I am quick to clip in and I am usually through an intersection before most cars. I also obey traffic laws and I ride in bike lanes when on roads that have them.

Interesting you use clips, but need to clip out at lights.
So do I. Quite normal. If you set the clip tension right and have been using them for years it's no problem clipping in and shooting off.
Correct. Not everyone can perform a trackstand for the whole length of red light nor have the room to perform one at a red light.
Clipping in and out is second nature to me.
Then they aren't really cyclists and no matter how fast you think you are...your holding up people by not just sprinting off.
How much room do you need to do a trackstand? I am not sure if we are talking the same thing.
Once you are in one, it's usually easy to hold barring gale force wind.
Either way unclipping negates the conservation of motion by some others above.
I am thinking many are really just 'bike riders' but not cyclists. The difference is about the same as someone with a MySpace site saying they are a web developer.
It's usually the non-cyclists that piss off drivers though and think in terms of 'let him hit me and I will sue'. A real cyclist has probably seen a friend or two get clipped or run into a car.
At UF I went straight over my bars when a little car pulled out in front of me (stuck their nose out at a stop sign into oncoming traffic)...I tried to stop but skidded hit the front tire and then landed on her hood and slid to the other side.
She got out of the car and started bitching at me..."LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO MY HOOD ASSHOLE!" I told her I was ok and if she'd like we could call the police and see about getting an ambulance here for my 'neck and back'. She swore at me some more and took off. I got her tag though just in case I had any problems. My bike was ok surprisingly...I thought I had screwed my wheel but it folded in and just had a little fork rash from her fender.
Flat out on a bike you can pick up major speed esp on downhills.
