Situps suck because they can hurt your back & neck. There are many many many better exercises for abs. Why would they affect adrenal glands?

I agree! Try (learning) dragon flags instead. I just happen to think dragon flags are one of the sexiest exercise routines that are there. Just how I feel. :)

Well the twisting of the torso will squeeze the side area of the body. In Yoga poses are held to massage targeted glands. I would assume that the motion of the bicycle situp would also share the same functions in it's movements.

I just wanted to know if it would effect the adrenal gland.

Your adrenal glands would likely be more squeezed if you performed serious heavy weightlifting due to intraabdominal pressure. The thought process regarding massaging specific glands in Yoga has no basis in research and is largely outdated. While I respect holistic approaches to exercise, the physiologic explanations can frequently be faulty. It doesn't mean the exercises don't work, it just means they work a different way than suggested.

Seriously lift heavy with squats or just about any other heavy leg or back exercise is GREAT for core contractions.
