Bible in Hotel rooms?

Yes i saw, i check the drawers always to see if there is one in the room and they are all from that group.

in case you forgot to bring your own?

If you aren't religious, just leave it alone, or if you are curious, feel free to read.

It's not that big of a deal.

The majority of Americans are christian, so it stands to reason that hotels would try to accomodate them, the customers, as best as possible.

As far as I know it is allowed to take the bible at home (I have heard that this one of the aims of the Gideons). Maybe someone has some addditional information?

is it just me, or are hotel rooms one of the WORST places to try and "win men, women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ"???? of all the things that go on in hotel rooms, i'm willing to bet that religion is on the bottom of the list.

unless of course you're talking about the missionary position.

The first thing I check is the lobby, bar, and pool to see if I can get laid. Instead, I usually get slapped. 🙁

Why is there always a Bible in Hotel rooms?

So you always have something to roll a joint with.

 that takes me back to a new years party in high school and the exodous spliff my friend was so proud of making

My dads a hotel manager, they usualy just send a box of bibles yearly to just about every hotel/motel in the USA and the hotel just places them in the rooms as needed. Having them in the rooms seems ok, people dont complain that they are there, but when they arent people often complain....weird though, has anyone been to a hotel/motel without a bible?

So customers can have access to an innacurate source of information and base their lives around it?

oh wait, that sounds like something else in the rooms lol.
