Um, hmm don't know if thats good or bad 🙂 We've been going out 4 and a half years anyway!

viper Yeah we went and bought the ring today, it was hardly a big surprise to her but I guess thats how it went. I did "have the money". Now I have none. Its nice having the money for these things but after saving for a while and suddenly being dropped to damn near nothing in the bank account that isn't as fun as it could be. All that wasted beer. Alas.

Do you not have a gf now? From what I can tell it seems that when you have a gf and all your friends/ her friends are getting married it is very hard to stop the trend from working itself into you hehe
 
But which is worth more to you: The ring on her finger, or the money in your bank account?

My guess is you don't regret it very much.

Actually I mentinoed tonight that if we broke up I'd get a tasty little monetary incentive to do so (return price of ring) - isn't that romantic? haha
