Charrison, there have been several examples that I pesonally recall where CNN failed to report on major events. One example is when Madeline Albright made a highly anti-arab statement during the persian gulf war, another i remember recently was when the macedonian embassy in Karachi was bombed, and the general repetition of certain facts and exclusion of others that I have noticed, and the CNN flair for trying to get people all riled up with news events. It also has started to report stupid articles, one was posted here a while back about a 'new and hitech' computer that could.... burn cd's.... whoa... wow. It was compaq and had compaq advertisements all over the article... they are more clearly bought than perhaps any other news source. Fox is even worse, with Bill O'reilly's attacks, and cutting off of peoples, and quoting of fragments to prove a point the list goes on and on..
Anyone that implies that CNN and Fox News is no more credible than Pravda is a fool.

CNN and FoxLewd are certainly MORE credible than Pravda. The ConsumerNewsNetwork (particularly CNN World) used to be a clear cut above the other US-based agencies. Unfortunately, FOX's success has driven them into mediocrity.
Another thumbs up for BBC and NPR but I do agree people should spend some time with all of these sources . . . if only for the purpose of observing the bias and flawed-logic which they exhibit.

The BBC is far better than NPR. I can't believe you would even put them in the same sentence! NPR definately is not a great news source at all. They are biased and have, in the past, either mis-reported or misrepresented the news.
