There should be a sticker on the ISA slot that will tell you the version #. Good Luck!

I have the same question...The last isa slot ? IF so then I have to remove the whole motherboard from the case in order to read it?
that seems strange.

The award screen when booting up gives me this info.
award plug and play BIOS extension v 1.0a

03/11/1999 - i44obx - w83977 - 2a69ka1ec - kg

Now I know the last time I flashed that bios it was the KG number so I assume I have the 1.0 revision ?
Are you saying oldfart that a celeron 1 gig or even a 1.1 gig cpu should work in this mobo if I flash the bios?
also do you know of any good instructions or web sites on how to flash the bios?
I know I need the bios file but what else do I need on the disk?
I am using win me.
I want to put a faster cpu in this machine for my kids , like a celeron 800 or 900.
thanks for any info
WW

No. There is NO way you can get the motherboard revision number without ripping out the motherboard and looking at the underside of the last ISA slot. You can surf all you want and post all you want, but in the end, that's what you're going to have to do find out.

Are you asking how to tell if it is a 1.0x or 1.1? This is pretty easy. 1.0x has plain white rear ATX connectors. 1.1 and up has the colored connectors.

Ok I just read mine without removing the board.
How? with 2 mirrors and a flashlight and a magnifying glass.
I placed 1 slim mirror against the case in front of the last isa slot.
I placed the other mirror across from it and angled it down to read the numbers...worked very well.
this is what I got.
BH6 bl29288
BH6 - ok v 1.01
so I have the first 1.0 revision.
old fart what is the rear atx connector?
thanks guys

The ATX connectors for the serial, printer, keyboard, mouse, etc. The 1.1 will be colored instead of White.
