Im wanting to upgrade my CPU with one of the faster 100mhz fsb P3 chips (I currently have a Celeron 300a)My BH6 rev is 1.0 does anyone know what the fastest P3 is that will run on this board? Abit's web site shows something like 700mhz supported but ive heard that unoffically these boards will support faster cpus . Does anyone know what the main difference is between Rev 1.0 and 1.1? anyone running faster than 700mhz P3 on Rev 1.0 ? Thanks

With the right slotket you can run any pIII in there, I have an original bh6 from over 2 years ago it is running a pIII 700 at 784 (112fsb) on an asus slotket 2, the slotket will take care of the voltage settings.

P3 750 on bh6 rev 1.0

Just get the latest bois, you can go up to 1ghz (100fsb)

Just a newer cpu voltage controler. The old controler is not spec'd to go down to 1.65v as require by the Coppermine cpus, but it will do it none the less (you just wont be able to go crying to abit if it doesnt).

I give you odds of about 98% success...
