BH6 MB has all the pins in the IDE slots, and cant find ATA100 cables without blocked pin.

So whats a good way to open up the blank on the cables I have to get it to work?

I tried a paper clip and a lighter, but didnt work to well.....

I just used a sharp knife. I poked the end through and then it fit over the pin.

if you look very closly at the connecter there is a good chance that the holes are only plugged
with a tiny plastic plug. i found that a shirt pin or small needle works to pick it out.

There is no point in using ata-100 cables on the on board ide ports. You can buy a ata-100 card for $25 on the For sale forum.

Why not use an ATA-100 cable? If that is what you got with your drive, just use it. It doesn't hurt anything.
