I have a P2B (asus) and I love it. I am building a little webserver to have here at school (linux) and I want to get one of these Abit boards because they can be had for super cheap off of ebay. I just wanted to know which one to get, which rev and what not? I know that one of those can take PIII's and that's what I want. I want the one that can take PIII's with the slotket.
Thanks.

Bx6 rev 2 can with a bios update i believe. rev 2 of the Bh6 might be able to as well with a flash. look at the abit site and see what the bios updates on the board do.

The Abit site isn't telling me too much.
I would ideally like to throw a PIII socket coppermine on here with a slotket.
Thanks.

The BX6 (R.2) will support all the P3 Coppermines with a slocket adapter (and even the Tualatins with a PowerLeap adapter).

You can use a CuMine on any BH6 or BX6. The early revs, BH6 rev 1.0x and BX6 rev1, do not have 1/4 PCI dividers, so a 133 FSB is not a good idea. The BH6 rev 1.1 and up and the BX6 rev 2 do have the 1/4 PCI dividers. They also have more FSB options.

That's what I like to hear! 🙂
So a BH6 is good to go too then, nice nice. I'm seeing these things sell for very little on e6ay.
