the 6800 has a stock hsf while the x800pro has a silencer on it.

How much of an imporvement will i get over my 6600gt extreme and an x800pro?

bfg 6800gt easy. Lifetime warranty and overclocked out of box. You can find them for $230 shipped on forums.

the 6800gt is better but i don't think an x800pro is too much better than a 6600gt. just go to 6800 or sitck with your current card. @$230 for a bfg 6800gt though, i'd sell your 6600 and spend it on a 6800gt
