I replaced the stock HSF when i bought my card a few months ago, and when i popped in my card after a few weeks of no use it's acting a bit funny.

So if i put the stock back on, do they thoroughly check to see if it's been removed? (ie, thermal paste, etc?)

true... but on the off chance, they'll just return it, right?

And charge you a return fee.

And perhaps turn you in for fraud.

It's "acting a bit funny", so you figure you'll just send it in for a new one, eh? How about taking some time to actually try and troubleshoot the problem?

Define funny.

Also, have you been overclocking this?

LOL a man with a memory of the time I squeeled on that guy who OCd about 100MHz and then was going to screw newegg with a return.

OP- you should really trouble shoot your install of the aftermarket cooler, and try it with stock. BFG themselves have posted on H that what you have done voids your warranty, so it's really your problem at this point.
