BFG vs ASUS

I'm trying to find some information about BFG vs ASUS video cards.

Anyone have any help about where I could look? Some retard keeps telling me he owns a computer shop and all his BFG cards always have to be returned. Just need help with bringing the firepower.

Every ASUS Video card that I have owned had to be RMA'ed for a new fan. I'd be playing games and then the card would shut off or start presenting defects in the picture untill the fan was replaced.

My brother had the fan die on his Asus 9800Pro. They sent him a new fan and it died too.

My BFG 7900GT has been flawless since I got it in April.

I've bought many Asus motherboards but I stay away from their graphics cards.

Check newegg.com user reviews.

All video card mfg's will have defective cards at any given time. BFG offers a lifetime warranty compared to Asus w/ a 3 yr.

I'm mainly looking for people comparing the same card with different builders. Like a BFG card vs ASUS. The ones that JaAG posted seem pretty good.. a couple of them mention ASUS cards.

Thanks 🙂

All mfg's typically use a reference model, then they may change the heatsink/fan, core/memory clock speeds, and provide warranty for the card. EVGA, BFG, and XFX seem to be the top 3 choices for an NVIDIA card.
