BFG Trade-Up Program: Questions

Canada Post says my card got to them on the 26th, but I haven't heard anything from BFG. I'm wondering if this is normal, I'm kinda worried because I wasn't able to put the bfg label on the outside and to make a long story short, the woman at the post office had to recopy my shipping info onto the box label and she made some errors, namely, it says BFG Technologies, up dep, rather than BFG Tech tradeup department. I dont know how she screwed that up so bad (the long story is face palm material). The only way that anyone at bfg is going to know what to do with that box will be to open it up and find the label with barcode in a ziplock bag inside (with the card). Sigh...

I run my vid card underclocked. I suppose that probably is considered altering and modification for warranty purposes anyways. 😛

Have you tried going to rma status @ the bfgtech website? You can put in your T******* number in there and it will tell you when they got it. Ups showed mine being delivered there on a Monday(holiday), on the rma status it showed Tuesday received it, so this is probably normal.

Thank you very much Rhoel, it appears they received it on the 27th in the afternoon. Hopefully they get the ball rolling for me tomorrow. Looking at your timeline, it seems to have taken ~3 days between them receiving it and you getting an email, so it might be a while yet. Also, would you let me know how long it takes for your card to get to you? whether they air ship or ground? <3 <3 <3

I sent mine out on the 21st and it arrived on the 23rd. I took about 4 hours from when UPS delivered it until I got an email with a coupon. I ordered that day and it shipped on the 26th(Monday). It should arrive the 29th. Thats with UPS ground shipping, a total of $18 shipping UPS both ways and 8 days without a card.

Would be less except that I ordered on a Friday afternoon so it didn't ship until after the weekend.

I wish I had that quick of an email reply. I wouldn't have paid extra for the 2 day air. I had to because I'm going to Vegas for Superbowl weekend and didn't want my card sitting on my doorstep.
