I got in on the Best Buy deal for a BFG Asylum GF4 Ti4200. It has analog out, TV out, and DVI out with a DVI to Analog adapter.
My question is this, if I hook up the DVI adapter to a second monitor can I run dual monitors? Or does hooking up one disable the other?
I don't know what I'd use it for but I have a spare 15" monitor and I'd like to see what dual monitors are like.
Any input is much appreciated! Thanks!!

It is multi display capable. Use the DVI -> DB15 adapter and hook up the secondary, turn on and reboot the system. Upon reboot, Windows should detect the secondary. You may need to enable Extended Desktop to use secondary under Display Properties/Settings. If you go the Clone option, you will need to disable extended desktop and use the Clone option in the nView Tab under Display Properties/Settings/Advanced.

Im also having a prob with my bgf grf card. I tryed using the tv out and all i see is a blank screen. Do I have to configure the system before I use tv out? Im not trying to use dual monitors just my tv as a monitor.

I have this card but haven't installed it yet (since I'm still deciding on my 21" display for my 2nd system). In my current system I also have a card with TV-out (MSI geforce2 Pro), and to get the TV-out to work you have to change the settings in your display properties. In my Windows 2000 display properties I go into Settings/Advanced/Device selection. The TV is grayed out unless it's on and hooked up. Otherwise, you select that radio button insead of "Monitor" and you hit OK and then you have 15 seconds to confirm that it is OK or else it reverts to your monitor. With the geforce2 card it is a little disappointing. My TV's resolution (sharpness) is nowhere near that of my monitor. It is a lot bigger, though. I have watched some movies on it and it was OK. An annoyance is that there's around and inch on the left and right that are black. I'm hoping the Asylum (BFG) Ti4200 does a better job... will see. HTH.
