If I buy a used BFG vid card from someone and it happens to to break down...will BFG warranty cover it since it has a lifetime warranty? Or is warranty coverage only given to the original owner of the card?

What do they usually require you to send in besides the vid card? original receipt? Do they just go by the s/n of the card?
