I'm considering one of these two card for my new system

BFG Tech 8800GT 512MB OC - $250 + tax with coupon (few available in my local store)

EVGA 8800GT 512MB superclocked - $295 shipping

BFG tech is PCI Express 16 and EVGA is PCI express 2.0.

I've a ABIT IP35-E motherboard with Q6600 OC'd to 3.2 GHz. Which one should I buy, EVGA or BFG Tech? Is PCI Express 16 slower than PCI Express 2.0 when connected on my motherboard? Motherboard does not have support PCI Express 1.1 and one PCI Express 16 slot.

Thanks in advance.

Heh, they are both PCI-e 2.0, and PCI Express 16x, which is the number of lanes those card use/want. In other words, they probably won't work optimal in a 4x or 8x PCI-e slot, or they won't fit at all, meaning, you require a pci-e 16x slot to run this card. Not sure which is the better card though, I can't find the core/ram speed of the BFG card. And PCI-e 2.0 is backwars compatible with PCIe 1.1.
