BFG OC 6800 and Doom 3

Since the BFG is overclocked out of the box does this mean it could cause problems in Doom 3?

I doubt you'll have the problems described by JC with small ocs it's probably more around 400 that you'll be running into problems.

I think he's mainly talking about heat issues. More transistors being used = more heat = less overclocking headroom.

What Carmack meant was that DoomIII will stress a game like never before, therefore formerly stable OC's might be unstable now.

You should be fine, its more aimed at people that have an OC around 100mhz and up... like GT users who have the card running at Ultra speeds.
