BFG nforce n680i SLI MOBO problems!!

Hello all,

i have read a lot on 680i problems, let me confess that i too have problems similar to this with my board which is from BFG 🙁

the point is that i really dont know if the problem has occurred because of hardware or because of OCing the hardware. at present i have OCed my C2D system and the specs as follows..

E6300 @ 3gigs 1.3125 vcore
transcend 1gig 667mhz(micron D9 chip) @ 806mhz 2.0 volts

FSB 429 mhz 1.3 volts (1:1)

even before OCing i tried to install xp on my system with stock specs but once after the initial installation where it copies the initial files to harddisk, the next immediate boot failed throwing an exception " Disk read error". i thought my segate baracuda 7200.7 rpm 16mb cache had some fault. after this crap i changed the sata connector from SATA1 to SATA5 then it started working properly.

after this my next installation was vista ultimate RC1, installation was smooth and fine but whenever i try to play a game trailer with .mov extension it used to throw up blue screen error stating some hardware problem. still i have this problem to date. not only this whenever i run movies for long hours i get Blue screen errors inbetween !!

but this doesnt happen often in XP mode though.. i really dont know what the problem is, it might be hardware or because of Vista pre release edition or because of OCIng the sys..

u guys need to pull in the feedbacks for this ...

thanks in advance🙂
