I thought these cards had a $200 retail. I was hoping they would be going for $175-$180. Lowest I've seen so far is $245!

Why aren't they as cheap as the PCI-E cards? Hopefully they'll drop in price soon...

There's a bridge chip on every AGP 6600GT and those cost money.

Supply and demand. Right now they will be very hot as they are brand new and good performers. Remember when the 6800's first came out they were wayover MSRP. Give it about a month or two and the prices will fall.
