Man I loves BFG and thier hastle free no questions asked RMA policy. I send them a damaged BFG 6800 OC 128mb AGP card I gto from a fellow WT'r and they send me a brand new BFG 7800GS OC 256mb AGP card with a G71 core and Hynix 1.4ns memory that does 525/1430 with the stock copper HSF.

I guess this means BFG is out of all 68xx and 7600GT AGP cards or they'da prob sent me one of those instead :D I'm not arguing with thier kickass decision though ;)

Since it's the G71 core ( 7900GT/GTX ) I'll bet with more voltage it'll do 550 - 650mhz :) Thinking I prob shouldn't F w the hw though :(

GPU-Z verrification @ 515/715

I can play Doom 3 @ 1152/864 on High detail and all Advanced options on with 8x AF and 0x AA. I test for artifacts on the last level with the boss and God mode and noclip on. I hover circles arround him and the platform going below and above the platform firing plasma and moving in and out. Wierd way to test for artifacts, I know so sue me.

Congratz my friend. I am using one of their cards now and it still works great.

Nice!

EVGA has been pretty good to me. I bought a 7800GT at $300,
stepped up to a 7900GT, ($5)
had the widespread artifact problem a couple months later, got a new 7900GT (with higher stock clocks),
had the widespread diagonal lines problem, and got a 7950GT

4 cards. Only paid for one.

I'm just pissed I couldn't get an 8800 instead of that 7950GT.
