BFG 8800GT OC back at BestBuy at $251.99

They'll sell out quickly online. Check your local store listings. I got one locally when they were sold out online last week.

You gotta go to the store yourself and see if it's in stock. When I got mine it was the last day (Sat) of the sale @ $237 and the local store was showing no stock. But because some stores were showing stock I decided to go and check it out for myself. Sure enough they had 7 on the shelf! Go figure. I believe that they are not updating the store inventory database quick enough because they know they'll be gone in a day or so.

It seems there are quite a few manufacturers putting out the 8800 GT now (BFG, EVGA, XFX, etc). Has any site done a "shootout" yet to see which offers the best performance? Right now I have a BFG 6800 GT OC and oh man is it time to upgrade. I just bought another 2 GB of RAM and a new power supply (my antec keeps dying and RMA is getting tiring) so I'm ready.

This deal is on fire, but I am holding off another week or week and a half.
If this sale ends by then, I'm sure there will be another deal by someone, somewhere.
Plus I really want EVGA anyways.

Thanks, just picked one up. I had to argue with them though since BB.com doesn't offer the option to order it since it is out of stock. The price in store is 279.99 so they pricematched it to 251.99 but the coupon only took anoth 5.60 off since it takes it off the original price of 279.99. I had to go to the customer service desk to get the additional $27 off so YMMV. In the end I may end up returning it if a better deal pops up in the next week or so since I can't build the new pc till then.

They WILL accept the coupon. Just bring the print-out from their website indicating the price, and the coupon, to scan at the register.

If you live in Jax the Regency Mall bb shows them in stock at the store. I've discovered that bb's inventory system is slow to update itself so I'd call ahead to any store to confirm that the item is in stock especially if you have to drive any distance to get there.
