BFG 7900GTX power problem

I have a BFG 7900GTX which was working just fine until recently when my PSU died. I replaced the PSU with an identical model (Ultra Infinity 600W), and now on startup I get a message that says that there is insufficient power reaching the video card, and to plug in the supplemental power. I think there is only one (6 pin) power connector for the card, and it is plugged in. A 600W power supply should be more than ample for this card, and it has always worked in the past. Anyone have any ideas on what I'm missing here?

FYI, I am using an ASUS A8N-SLI-SE Motherboard, with a single 7900GTX OC on it (no SLI). Graphics seems to work but the alert box says "Performance will be degraded". Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
