BFG 7900gs or 7950 512?

It seems as if the 7900 gs ~ 7900gt in performance. For 50 bucks more, should i just spring for the 7950? Is it worth that money for 3d performance?

Neither of those cards are good enough to upgrade from your 7800GTX.

I would look at 8800GTS 640 or maybe wait for a refresh. 7800GTX is still a fast card.

GTX = RIP Think i kept it OC'd too high in a hot case

7900GS OC vs. 7950GT 512mb

7950GT outperforms it. Check based on the games you play.

Also X1950XT 256mb is a good card and X1950Pro for cheaper is a decent bet.

After that you are looking at 8800GTS 320mb.
