Hi
I have a asus a8n32-sli deluxe mobo, with a nvidia sli x16 chipse. I also have a athlon x2 4400.

Problem is I am unable to install video drivers. It says i need to uninstall existing drivers. I have 2 7800gtx. i try installing with one, both and nothing works. also, when i try to install windblinds, its says it requires microsoft windows xp. i am using 64 bit edition windows xp.

please help me

thanks

well windblinds isn't going to work if it's not certified for x64. Also are you using the x64 version of the drivers?

no i am just using the disk that came with the cards, i guess i'll look for them. does anyone have a link?

Thanks for the help by the way, i guess i shouldn't have assumed that the drivers were 64 compatible.

Go to NVIDIA's website, they are available there.

Edit - Unless you are really a glutton for punishment I can't in good faith recommend using X64 Windows unless you need it for a specific purpose.

It's just not 100% supported by a lot of hardware companies yet and you aren't going to get any performance advantage from using it at this time. When more software becomes available, which probably won't occur until Vista launches, you will probably continue to run into little annoying things like this. Especially for your peripherals, like printers, card readers etc, unless all of your stuff is from one the 'big' name companies.
