When I first got one of these....I did the detect optimal frequency thing and got 570/1150. Then I changed the BIOS from 1.4v to 1.5v and now it detects 590/1180. No artifacting whatsoever except CS:S a little bit. I need a better cooler I think then 500/1250 should be attainable with zero problems. What do you guys suggest as far as the best cooling fan i can get for this card, doesnt matter if its noisy either. First post on this site too, amazing how many ppl are registered here jeez this'll end up being a 3rd home in the near future i think lol.

What did you do to flash the Bios, where did you get it from?

Yes, Anandtech is amazing. It's change pretty radically since I first started, but it's still a far better knowledge base that's mostly light on the flaming than anything else out there.
