BFG 7800 GT idling at 40C/104F...

So yeah, I got the BFG 7800 GT, ran Everest and noticed that it was idling at 104. I haven't even run a game since installing the card (15 minutes ago); not having much in the way of experience with temperatures, I was just curious as to whether that was normal or something I should be concerned about.

My card idles at 45-50, so no I don't think you need to worry.

My 6800 idles at 78 C, but it's only heatpipe cooled (fanless) so it runs hotter.

My BFG 6800 GT OC is at 67 idle right now
I have had it since the day it came out. At 100 CPU it goes up
but only FEAR caused me a heat shut down and I fixed that by raising the CPU fan 1000rpms

I hope I can run my next PC a little cooler than this one but.......it works, lol
It has not been turned off in 2.5 years except for Katrina.....that bitch cut a lot of people off

My bfg 7800gtx idles at the same temp so that has to be right
