BFG 6800GT Stock Heatsink/Cooler Question

All the pictures I saw before mine arrived had 2 small little fans on it. The one I received has what looks like the same one as the 6800 ultra. Anyone know why mine has this? And which one is better?

The heatsink you got is the reference design heatsink. According to most people here, the dual fan LED heatsink is utter crap and doesn't cool the gpu and mem chips too well. So, in summation, you'd be better off keeping that BFG 6800GT oc you currently have.

The cooler you recieved have is supposed to be better, it's refrence degisgn, EVGA and others use it so I wouldn't be worried.

Yeah, I'd bet that too. That, in fact, is the stock cooler for a 6800GT, as it is the same one I have\had (I still have it, but its in a box, not on the card, as I have a Silencer). Its pretty good, but its definitely not the Ultra cooler.

The copper Heatpipe cooler with 2 blue LED fans was a "limited release" version that stuck around for a while. However, it sucks compared to the nvidia reference cooler. That's why I have an NV5 waiting to be installed

No, that was what BFG used for a while on their "Limited Edition" cards. The one you have is like the one almost every other manufacturer uses for their 6800GTs
