BFG 6800GT OC [PCI-E] -- Any benchmarks/comparisons?

To make a long story short, I just ordered the 6800GT/PSU combo from chumbo.com but I won't be able to use it until my birthday (every february)...

Even though I know I bought the right card, I'd like to see some benchmarks/comparisons to other cards. I'm also interested in seeing what kind of fps can be pulled from two of these in SLI mode.

Anybody have any links for me?

Well, the 20Mhz core boost isn't going to matter much.

As for benchmarks, the best way is to look at ones that have both Ultras and GTs, this card will perform somewhere in between the two.

I know I didn't really answer what you were asking, or help you find what you were looking for, but there are plenty of benches that you can get an idea from. Suffice it to say that its more than powerful enough.

I have two BFGs right now and the only benchmarks I have run are HL2 and 3D Mark 2K5.

From ATs timedemos I got an avg of 64-65 fps on the city 17 map and for 3D Mark I got a little over 8600.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I was running at 1600x1200 w/4xAA and 8xAnsio with all eye candy on including reflect ALL for HL2.

Tech Report just published a 6600GT SLI article. In it are benches of PCIe 6800GTs and 6800Us, along with a bunch of other cards around that price range (both ATi and nV).

Here is my setup and the few benchies I ran

Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2.2ghz
2x512MB Geil PC3200
Abit NF7-S
BFG 6800GT @ 400/1100
Seagate 7200 RPM 200GB
Maxtor 7200 RPM 250GB

When I installed the setup and ran the coolbits detect overclock it said my core could handle 432/1110. For now I leave it at 400/1100 but I will go higher when I get my NV Silencer 5 installed tonight.

for 3DMark2k5 I get 52XX
for 3DMark2K3 I get 13,XXX
In Half-Life 2 I ran the entire game at 1600x1200, max everything, 4x AA, 8x AS. Dropped below 30fps only twice and that was only for a second.

Sorry I have not rany any more benchies. I ment to try the 3Dmarks at the stock 420/1000 speeds but I just hate decreasing my speeds.... I have coolbits set my 2D core speed to 350 so I idle at pretty low temps. Max load temps I have hit with stock cooler is 71c, normal is 65ish
