well considering I doubt the glacier 6800 will ever be here what do you guys think of the regualr BFg 6800oc? Also about how high could I expect to get this card to? and does it really have adequate cooling? looks a little small to me
 
Well if you want the BFG 6800 OC, go to your local Best Buy and pick one up. This week, they're offering a special for $300: BFG 6800 OC, Doom 3, and Far-Cry. That's right two great games, and one great card for the regular price of the card. If I was in the market for a 6800 right now, I'd be on that quicker than a badger on a beefsteak.
 
BFG sure has taken off. Good company, good marketing.

I went with a Chaintech AA6800 Turbo model. Not sure of the 6800OC from BFG; but the Chaintech has 2.2ns Hynix memory onboard. With 61.77 drivers, coolbits auto detect feature puts clock speeds at 405/864. I keep it at 375/810.

With 1Gig of Corsair low latency system memory, I'm able to run Doom 3 on Ultra/1024x768, and Farcry maxed out. Very nice. I'm glad I decided to save money and buy a vanilla 6800... 🙂

 
yeah I saw the deal at Best buy. was amazed that they kept the carda t the price its suppose to sell at. I dont really want D3 or Far cry so im in no hurry to go out and buy it. Was justing trying to narrow my choices so I can keep an eye on them😀
