BFG 6800 Ultra power requirements?

I just ordered the BFG 6800 Ultra and then noticed the following power requirements:

480w powersupply MINIMUM with TWO power dongles!

Holy crap! I've got a Coolermaster Real Power 450w and just assumed that it would be enough. Link to my PS:

Anyone know if this would be enough to power this or are they really serious about this minimum?

Yes it would be enough.

Forget about the overall watts rating. That is like a game requiring a "64 MB video card".

I have a Zalman 400B for an AMD64 3400+ with a 6800 Ultra, 5 optical drives, 3 harddrives, TV and assorted other junk. Works fine. Rated at 400 watts.

How's the Real Power 450 working with your Ultra? That's the powersupply I was considering replacing my chepo 450 with. I also have a Ultra 6800 on the way.

A quality 420 watt can run a 6800 Ultra, a POS 420 watt wont.....
