BFG 6800 Ultra Driver question

Ok, I recently d/l the most up to date omega drivers for me BFG 6800 Ultra and it seems to be running worse than it did with the drivers on the installation cd. Has anyone used the omega drivers on their BFG and can you tell me if there is a difference in performance? I can't run over 70 refresh and can't run 32bit only 16bit in windows so I am wondering if I should just keep with the stock drivers or if there is a gain with the omega drivers.

Also, can anyone tell me if there has been an updated driver since the one that comes on the installation cd with the ultras? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried NVidia's latest driver? I'm not familiar with Omega drivers.

The latest (official) drivers are 71.89.
Guru3d is hosting the 76.45 beta drivers that seem to work well including the 72.03 betas.
Also, check out the XTreme (@tweaksrus) drivers. I haven't tried any of them but they supposedly perform very well too.

I tried Guru drivers and they seem to be working better, I tested 3dMark and I got higher scores then before with the new drivers so I'm happy. I'll look into tweakrus and also the new nvidia drivers. Thanks for the help!
