I just checked with Everest to make sure my pipes and shader is still unlocked because I changed up to the 71.20 drivers and it read that indeed everything is unlocked but it's saying I have GDDR3 mem instead of DDR. Did BFG screw up?

I do have 128mb though :(

Same card friend and Everest is claiming same thing about my card. That I have GDDR3 as well.

Can someone look at the chips and see if it's really GDDR3 or if everest is just misreading specs?

Use a different hardware ID program. Sandra maybe? Not sure of others, but I know they're out there.
Oh, maybe RivaTuner?

Damn, I wonder if the 6800 OC I sold had GDDR3 on it...I was getting GT speeds so easily.

I never did get a chance to physically look at the ram.

Hmm looked in Sandra and Rivatuner but I dont see where to tell what kind of ram I have.

Any suggestions on where? It clearly shows up much but not what type.

It's just a bug in the Everest program that was confirmed a while ago. Look at RivaTuner under Diagnostics:
