BFG 6800 OC dual fan question

I have been meddling around with this card for a week or so. This includes OC'ing, and benchmarking. While I have left my OC'ing to a point that the card doesnt break 61C during benchmarks, both fans never come on. Is this normal?

AMD 64 3000+ 225x9
Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR Mobo
1 gig Kingston HyperX
BFG 6800 OC 380/850
Riva tuner showed artifacts

The fans should come on but your temps are pretty low. Call BFG up and see what they say.
 
Just got off the phone with BFG tech (which was fast and friendly I might add) and they mentioned that both fans should be running and can RMA it if there are issues. So I will ramp up the oc and see if I get any issues 🙂...Thoughts? thx...G
 
Well, since you're overclocking you've techinically voided your warranty, so expect to get flamed for that. IMO, if the fans never worked RMA the sucker now.
